Born in Muggia in 1960, he immediately devoted himself to studying the horn at the Conservatory of Trieste, graduating in 1981. In parallel with the exercise of his free profession, he devoted himself to musical activity both as a horn player and as a teacher (at the Conservatory of his city as principal instrument and chamber music teacher) and as band director. In this sense he has to his credit over a thousand concerts held in Italy and abroad, as a soloist, orchestral (he also held the role of first horn in the orchestra of the Teatro Verdi opera body in Trieste) and in small ensembles musical.
Established in the competitions of Ancona, Stresa and Porcia, he has always worked hard for the study and dissemination of music written for and with wind instruments (from the Baroque to the 1900s), actively contributing to the establishment of the "Serenade Ensemble" and the City Band of Muggia (now Orchestra a Fiati Città di Muggia) well known and appreciated formations hosting soloists and conductors of clear international fame.
